Firstly, our aims...

...to develop a set of resources, such as simulations, experiments, exercises and tasks that will help you, the teacher, in getting across difficult concepts to your students.   We want to exploit the computer to do those things at which it is best (such as interactive simulations and experiments, structured tasks, etc.) and leave the rest alone.

...and why we need your input

Rather than us decide what you need, we want you to tell us.  To do this, we are inviting teachers and other field experts to submit "storyboards" - paper plans of the software you would like to see.  Whether your idea is large- or small-scale, we need your input.

What is a storyboard?

A storyboard is simply a plan, on paper, of what the final package will look like.   All MATTER programs are developed from storyboards prepared by subject specialists.   Click here for the on-line "Guide for Storyboard Authors".

Before you start...

Naturally, we don't want 20 different storyboards all on the same topic.  If you are thinking of writing a storyboard, please contact our co-ordinator to check that the topic isn't already being done.  You can access the on-line storyboard template here.
